Nooch

I stopped into Nooch on a day trip with my mom to Windsor from Detroit and was blown away!! We were greeted with such hospitality and loved the music and atmosphere. The food was all delicious and well worth trip! I'm vegan, so I really appreciated the freedom of being able to order anything on the menu and my non-vegan mom raved about her meal too! I will definitely be back!

I was hungry and wanted something vegan. I live in Detroit, but very close to the border so places in Windsor pop up when I Google. Nooch was the first vegan restaurant to pop up and it had great ratings. I decided to go based off ratings and the menu. It was just after 2 pm, and it was perfect they were opening at 3pm. I walked in around 3:30 and was immediately greeted by Keith. He was very friendly. He waited and bartended for me. I ordered the nachos and cajun chicken tacos and a margarita. Everything was delicious. I’d never had anything all vegan and so good. I’ll definitely be back. It’s worth crossing the border for. Before I left, Keith, who turns out is the owner, gave me a lemon cookie he’d made. I didn’t eat it until after I left, but it was absolutely delicious. I never mentioned it was my birthday, so the cookie was much appreciated.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere. We drove all the way from Detroit to check this place out. We tried the Detroiter Chili Dog and it was the best vegan chili we've had in a while. My son had the ultimate chicken burger. He absolutely loved it. I also tried the poutine fries for the first time, they were great. We will definitely be visiting again to try something different.

If you're vegan, you must try this place. If you're not vegan, you must try this place. We added Windsor as a pit stop on our drive from Pittsburgh to Detroit specifically to eat here and it did not disappoint. We arrived right as they opened and were seated immediately. Our server (I think the owner, as well?) gave us the run down on their menu, provided some suggestions, and chatted with us a bit about our hometown as well as Windsor. All of their meats and cheeses are made in-house. The menu has so many great options. We each had a Rose City Beer Works beer, which is brewed below the restaurant. We ordered lunch and some food to go for a late night snack. The Reuben was so much better than a normal Reuben; it had the right amount of peppery flavor, on-point thousand island dressing, and didn't leave me feeling greasy and nasty like real meat would have. I got poutine for my side and holy cow, again, I'm moving to Canada. My boyfriend got the Philly cheese steak, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We were easily convinced on dessert: carrot cake (generous portion, moist, and yummy!) and a chocolate chip cookie. Our to go order consisted of the noochwrap supreme (Taco Bell style), turkey Bacon club, and Caesar salad. These held up well for our late night post-concert snack. The club was very filling and stuffed full of meats and toppings. The salad was better than I expected. The noochwrap was not a huge portion like the other meals, but still very good. The interior decor was really cool and I also appreciated the silly artwork in the bathroom. I wish my town had a vegan restaurant as dedicated and with such a great variety of quality options like this one, so I guess I'll just have to make more frequent trips to Canada until I make the move. Can't wait to go back! Oh, and I also got a cute zip-up hoodie because I'm a sucker for merchandise.

There is always something new and exciting to try every time we visit. We ordered the noochos and seitan bites for apps between the three of us and there was more than enough for everyone. First time trying the steak bites and we were blown away. Delicious food every time and it’s vegan !

Delicious no-question all-vegan menu with all the normal American/Detroit food items!! Plus a full dessert menu and amazing drink options. The owner was our host and we loved to chat. It is so clean and well-kept, not “cozy” but friendly and comfortable. I will remember this restaurant for a long time; it is well worth crossing the border for!! :)

This place has amazing food! The owner was so nice & the place gives chill vibes. Even if you’re not a fan of Vegan food, their cajun fries were stellar! Would absolutely recommend & I will be back!!

Absolutely loved this place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were visiting Windsor and stumbled upon it while looking for vegan options and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the experience was awesome! We were seated right away, and the service was incredibly kind and attentive. The staff took the time to walk us through the menu, answer our questions, and made us feel genuinely cared for. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do and truly enjoy being there. Now, the food… wow. We ordered the nachos and they were hands down the best we’ve ever had…they were layered to perfection with toppings in every bite. Super filling. We also tried the “Big Mock” tacos and burger, and both were incredible. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is 100% worth visiting. The food is fantastic and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend!
